Requirements:

Premiere New York event space and night club looking for new a Technical Director / Lighting Programmer *contractor. The space is both night club and private event space. Job requires to run lighting and all things technical during normal club nights, and to TD and provide lighting support for all special events during the week.

Space has one of the largest lighting systems in New York City for a night club and is constantly outdoing itself, using Broadway standards for its rig.

Must have experience with basic lighting maintenance of equipment for trouble shooting and repair. Hog 3 proficiency is needed due to the large amount of programing for live events.

Must be able to run and mix basic sound and understand wiring fundamentals of sound / lighting / and video.

Track all equipment and materials in the venue for both lighting and sound, maintain existing equipment. Keep all capabilities of venue always running at 100%.

The perfect person would be a corporate trained technician that loves programming and has night club experience, is flexible with schedule, creative and loves a challenge. Friendly, be used to corporate clients, and a good multi-tasker works best with the venue.


Skills sets:
Hog 3 advanced programming
Basic Video/Sound experience
DL2 experience preferred.
Knowledge of simple repair of VL and HES fixtures.
Use and knowledge of Color Kinetic
Experience with wireless mics Shure UR2's.
Photoshop background a plus.
Club experience a plus.
Live event programming and technical management a requirement.
Must be able to lift 150 lb. Climb Ladders.
